KARE will host a one mile fun run/walk and 5K run/walk to benefit child abuse victims and families in Haywood County Saturday, April 27, along Main Street, in downtown Waynesville. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. in front of the downtown Waynesville courthouse on race day.

Cost is $10 for children 12 and under, $20 for 12-plus before April 13, and $25 for 12-plus after April 13.
