KARE hosts 5K, fun run April 27

KARE, the Kids Advocacy Resource Effort, will hold a 5K and fun run the morning of Saturday, April 27, in  downtown Waynesville. The “5Kare,” a fundraiser for KARE, will start with registration at 7:30 a.m. in front of the courthouse.  The fun run starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K at 9 a.m.

The event will be held rain or shine.  Runners will compete in various age groups. Registration is $10 for children under 12, $20 by April 13, and $25 after April 13. For information, call Julie at 456-8995 or visit www.karehouse.org.
