CANTON — Keitha Morgan Campbell, 91, of Johnson Street, passed away Friday June 22, 2012.

Ms. Campbell was born July 1, 1920 to the late David Elijah Morgan and the late Lucy Stamey Morgan. She graduated from Blanton's Business College and after graduation was employed as a secretary with Champion Paper and Fiber Company.  Keitha was a devoted member of Canton First Baptist Church, the Berean / Fidelis Sunday School Class, and Women's Missionary Union.  She also taught kindergarten there for many years and touched the lives of children throughout our community.

Ms. Campbell was involved in a number of civic organizations, including Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina, Hospice of Haywood County, the Red Cross Blood Mobile and the Haywood County Board of Elections. She was also an ...
