Loving Father

WAYNESVILLE — Kenneth James Duell Jr., 58, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, at Autumn Care Nursing Home.

A native of Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Caroline Matilda Andrle Duell.  Kenneth was an amazing father, mentor, and coach, not only to his children but children all over Haywood County.  He was an avid golfer, outdoorsman, and builder of many homes throughout the community and was a member of Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Brittany Duell, of Waynesville, and Amy Duell, of Jupiter, Florida; one son, Chris Duell, of Waynesville; and one sister, Cathy Grindle, and her husband, Grant, of Wisconsin.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.Friday, July 13, at Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. ...
