Cataloochee Ski Area is offering its customers a “Kids Stay Free, Kids Ski Free” program, giving visitors an affordable way to spend a winter getaway.

When customers sign up for the exclusive program, children 17 and under can stay free at participating Haywood County accommodations on any non-holiday, Sunday to Thursday evening and can ski free on any non-holiday, Monday to Friday, when accompanied by an adult.

Many restaurants and merchants in the area are also offering giveaways and special deals throughout the season.

“Skiing or snowboarding at the Cataloochee Ski Area is an ideal way to spend your next family vacation, and the weather is beautiful this time of year,” said Lynn Collins, director of the Haywood County Tourism Development Authority. “The Kids Stay Free, Kids Ski Free program is a great way to save money, and anyone interested should definitely sign up.”

The Maggie Valley area has a selection of galleries, museums, and one-of-a-kind attractions. The mountains offer a wide array of outdoor activities that can be enjoyed year round.
