Korey Warren Public CD Release

A CD release party will be held for WNC’s own Korey Warren and band at 7:45 p.m. June 12 at The Strand at 38 Main in downtown Waynesville.

Korey Warren has been playing music since the young age of 7 years old. He first started picking in the living room with his two grandfathers, his uncle Joe and family friend Edgar Netherton. He also played in church.

Then went on to be a part of the Sons of Ralph where he remains to play today. He has shared the stage with many accomplished musicians such as Ralph Lewis, Balsam Range,  Raymond Fairchild, Ray Deaton and many more.  Some of his influences are Ralph Lewis, Balsam Range, Sons of Ralph, Bill Monroe, Bluegrass Album Band, Flatt and Scruggs and many others.

On the album and performing for the CD release are Korey Warren singing lead vocals and mandolin and bass, From Sons of Ralph Marty Lewis (guitar and harmony vocals,) Don Lewis (fiddle and harmony vocals,) Ralph Lewis (mandolin,) Buddy Melton from Balsam Range on harmony vocals, Steve Sutton (banjo,) Seth Rhinehart (banjo) and Ron Taylor (bass).
