Loving Mother

WAYNESVILLE — Kristy Mae Lanning, 34, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013.

She lived most of her life in Haywood County and received her associate’s degree in information technology from Southwest Community College.  Kristy was a former employee of Haywood County as the director of information technology and communications and was currently employed at Time Warner in Greensboro.  She was a member of Allens Creek Baptist Church.

Kristy is survived by her children, James Dakota Lanning, Makayla Cheyanne Lanning and Anna Grace Wood, all of Waynesville; her father Charles R.
