ORLANDO — The Pisgah varsity girls basketball team (11-1) beat Orlando (Fla.) Boone, 54-39, to win the KSA Holiday Classic girls championship Monday afternoon at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.

Boone, which has an enrollment of 2,938, is one of Florida's high schools.

Pisgah sophomore Brooklyn Allen has 15 points, senior Mariah Lewis finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds, while senior Sheridan Pressley chipped in 12.

Lewis was named tournament's most valuable player.

Pisgah boys wins KSA championship

ORLANDO - Sparked by junior guard Josiah Ledford's 14 points in the first half, including four treys, the Pisgah varsity boys basketball team defeated Pottstown (PA) Owen Roberts, 63-49, to win the KSA Holiday Classic at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex this morning.

Ledford led the Black Bears, which improved to 11-1 overall, with 14 points, Jesse Anderson chipped in 12 and Thomas Tatham contributed nine points.

Pisgah sophomore Peyton Truesdale was named the tournament's most valuable player.

The Pisgah girls tipoff at 11:30 a.m. against Orlando (Fla.) Boone in the KSA Holiday Classic girls championship game.
