L.C. Frady

1939 – 2012

STATESVILLE — Mr. L.C. Frady, 73, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at his home.

He was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Haywood County, and was the son of the late Jack and Pearl Rogers Frady.   He graduated high school while he served in the U.S. Army.

On Oct. 20, 1978, he married Patricia “Elaine” Blankenship, who survives.

He was a self-employed timber cutter before he was injured when a tree fell on him, leaving him disabled.  Mr. Frady was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, Elaine Frady, he leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Karen Hazell (Bill), of Hendersonville; one stepdaughter, Sandra Gregory (Mike) of Statesville; two stepsons, Edward Blankenship (Jolaine), of Salisbury, and Mark Faircloth (Angie), of Statesville.  He is also ...
