Loving Brother

MORGANTON — L.G. Messer, 71, of Morganton, formerly of Canton, died Dec. 19, 2012.   He was born in Madison County to Thomas and Novie Messer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas and Glen.

Survivors include his brother, Handy, of California; sister Magnolia “Maggie” Anderson, of Hot Springs; wife, Margie; and several children and grandchildren in Morganton.
