Lake Junaluska third annual Beautification Day

By Lake Junaluska Center | Mar 19, 2013

Lake Junaluska invites members of the community to join the Lake Junaluska staff and residents during the third annual Lake Junaluska Beautification Day on Thursday, April 11, 2013.

Volunteers will significantly add to the natural beauty of Lake Junaluska through the completion of low-cost, high-impact projects, such as clearing brush, power washing signs and buildings, and many more beautification projects.

“For the past two years, our staff has enjoyed working alongside locals and residents of Haywood County to make Lake Junaluska a place that everyone can enjoy,” said Jack Ewing, Lake Junaluska executive director.  “Beautification is a rewarding and exciting opportunity for us to work closer with our community.”

Lake Junaluska Beautification Day will kick-off April 11 during breakfast at 7:30 am in Kern Auditorium. Volunteers will enjoy a complimentary breakfast, and afterwards receive work assignments. Lunch will also be provided for volunteers.

Volunteer forms are available at www.lakejunaluska.com/beautification. For more information about Lake Junaluska Beautification Day, contact Tammy McDowell, Executive Assistant at Lake Junaluska at tmcdowell@lakejunaluska.com or 828-454-6702.
