Lake Junaluska's Appalachian Christmas is Dec. 13 and 14
Gather with family and friends at Lake Junaluska Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13 and 14, for a weekend of music. Appalachian Christmas weekend festivities include the Lake Junaluska Singers’ Christmas concert, the annual Christmas craft show, a special performance by the Cockman Family and “Handel’s Messiah.”
The Lake Junaluska Singers will kick off the festivities and will perform classic Christmas carols at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Stuart Auditorium.
On Saturday, enjoy a traditional craft fair from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Harrell Center Auditorium. A special Christmas performance by the Cockman Family will be held in Staurt Auditorium at 2 p.m.
The festivities will conclude Saturday evening with a performance of “Handel's Messiah” at 7:30 p.m. by the Lake Junaluska Singers.
General admission tickets are $17.50 for adults. Youth 18 and under are free. Tickets may be purchased at the Bethea Welcome Center at Lake Junaluska daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., online at www.lakejunaluska.com/concert-tickets, or at the Stuart Auditorium box office one hour prior to each show.
