The Sons of the American Legion of Waynesville is starting up their turkey shoot at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at the American Legion, 171 Legion Way, in Waynesville. There will be a turkey shoot starting at 9 a.m. every Saturday during the season. The proceeds go to helping the children and community throughout the year. The event is open to the public.
