WAYNESVILLE — Lesia Carol Rogers James, 41, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at Mission Hospital, Asheville, due to medical complications.
A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Shirley Rogers of Waynesville, and Joe Rogers (Sheila) of Oteen. She was preceeded in death by her maternal grandparents, Henry and Daisy Holcombe of Canton, and her paternal grandparents, Graham and Flora Rogers of Waynesville.
She is survived by her daughter, Nikki Summey (Jerry Eriksen); grandson, Jaryd Eriksen, of Sioux City, Iowa; brother, Steven Rogers (Kelly); nieces, Rebecca Rogers and Rachel Rogers; and nephew, Jesse Rogers. She is deeply loved and will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Swannanoa. ...
