Get your photos ready. The Mountaineer is running a sweetheart of a picture contest on Facebook from Jan. 25 to Feb. 7  — or until there are 50 entries, whichever comes first. Readers should email a jpeg of one photo, full name people pictured and when the photo was taken to: lifestyles@themountaineer.com. One entry per family is allowed. Do not embed the pics in a document; they need to be in jpeg form.

In the email, describe in one or two sentences why you think Facebook fans should vote for your sweetheart.

The staff will post the entries on the Mountaineer’s Facebook page. To vote for an entry, click on the picture, then on “Like” in blue along side the entry. The “Likes” will be tallied.
