Thanks for helping senior center

To the editor:

I would like to express sincere appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the Canton Senior Center Fundraiser held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Colonial Theater in Canton.

Attendees enjoyed a hot dog supper followed by a gospel singing.

The master of ceremonies for the event was the Rev. James Johnson from the Canton Church of God of Prophecy.  The Rev. Wayne Carson from Faith Missionary Baptist Church led with a scripture reading followed by special remarks from Juanita Dixon of Canton.

The headliner for the singing was local recording artist Leslie Hipps of Canton.  She was joined by other local groups including Men on a Mission from Haywood County, Dellwood Baptist Youth Choir of Dellwood Baptist Church; and  Dion Williams ...
