CANTON — Lisa Louise Lance, 40, of Canton, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013.
Lisa was born May 17, 1972, in Catawba County, and had made her home in Haywood County most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry and also drawing and sketching. Lisa loved life and her beautiful smile will always be remembered by her family and friends.
Surviving are her mother, Wanda Price McCullough, of Asheville; her father, Terry Randal Lance, of Waynesville; daughters, Amanda Woods and Kirk Messer, of Clyde, Tori Woods and Joshua Clubb, of Gastonia, and Malesa Brianne Woods, of Clyde; a son, Justin McAlpine, of Waynesville; granddaughter, Kaili Clubb; paternal grandfather, Johnny Lance; sisters, Nikki Lance, of Canton, and Joni Rhodarmer and Tai Rhodarmer, of Waynesville; her best friend, former husband and father of her daughters, Jimmy Woods of Clyde; friend and father of her son, Bubba McAlpine, of Canton.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronald Greene will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. Private interment will be held at a later date.
