The Live and Learn Committee of Lake Junaluska extends an invitation to anyone in the area interested in participating in this month's off-campus event.

     On Thursday, October 11, at 4:00 P.M., a car caravan will depart from the Bethea Welcome Center, 91 N. Lakeshore Drive, destination Cataloochee, to experience a unique facet of our natural environment.  Bill Lowry and Pat Stewart will meet us there to present a program on the elk, providing attendees the opportunity to increase their knowledge and get a first-hand impression of this magnificant creature. 

     Bring a picnic supper and stay awhile to enjoy autumn in the mountains.  The entire outing will be an exhibition of nature at its best.  Don't miss it.
