"Live and Learn" Program at Lake Junaluska

Exercise is a vital component of healthy living, and it is never too late to begin a program to improve one's physical state. Senior citizens who desire more information about appropriate exercise opportunities will not want to miss the next session provided by the Junaluskan "Live and Learn" Committee on Thursday, January 17, at 2:00 p.m. in the Bethea Welcome Center at Lake Junaluska. Douglas Gregory, fitness coordinator at MedWest Health & Fitness Center, and staff members certified in the areas of fitness training and instruction of Tai Chi, Yoga, and water aerobics will speak about exercise that especially benefits the senior population. In addition, Dr. Kate Queen will address the issue of osteoporosis.
