Anyone who has had the good fortune to find a mentor during his or her working career has reaped many benefits.  Now multiply and magnify that positive influence for a significant number of Haywood County youth who live in very undesirable conditions yet are fortunate enough to be matched with adults who are ready and willing to provide the missing links to promote and, hopefully, secure better futures for these young people.  This is the very essence and goal of the Big Brother Big Sister Organization.

On Thursday, April 18 at 2:00 PM in the Lake Junaluska Bethea Welcome Center, Frank Wolfe will be the facilitator for a program that will increase awareness of the BBBS organization and of how it is transforming young lives in the county.  The session is sponsored by the "Live and Learn" Committee of the Junaluskans and is open to the public.  Come and discover how you can contribute to this investment in our society's future.  For directions, call 452-7802.
