Loving wife, mother, grandmother

CANTON — Lois Knybel Wells, 65, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Mission Hospitals-Memorial Campus.

She was a native of Beckley, West Virginia, and the daughter of the late Felix and Zona Ford Knybel.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Knybel.  Lois graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Mathematics and a Masters in Statistics and was employed with Meadowbrook Elementary School as a Title One teacher.  She was a member of Canton First Baptist Church where she was a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Vacation Bible School teacher, member of the hand bell choir, Prae group, GA’s, World Changers, and she served on many other committees.  Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.
