Lowdown to play at Baseball BashLocal American Legion baseball clubs to hold fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 13
Folks are going to be rocking with the hottest band in Western North Carolina, the Lowdown, which will be playing at the Haywood Post 47 Baseball Clubs’ fundraising event on Saturday, Sept. 13.
Lowdown is a force of energy, cool, edge and fun all rolled into one power packed teen trio.
Surprising yet affable, the three meld searing rock into gritty blues and rocking originals, entertaining crowds with its talent, flexibility and charm.
Ranging in ages 14-17 and Ambassadors of Rock Academy North Carolina, Ethan, guitar and vocals, Andalyn, bass and vocals and Jarred on drums, have played together over the last year everywhere from festivals, to local venues and opened for veteran bands receiving rave reviews.
Lowdown’s cover of Chickenfoot’s Big Foot caught the eye of Sammy Hagar and Joe Satriani, earning them a shout out on the band’s Facebook page.
They work hard, play harder and the word on the street is ...The Lowdown’s got it going on.
The Lowdown have played at Tressa’s (Asheville), Andrew Scotchie’s Barnaroo Festival, the Altamont Theater (private party - Asheville), the Altamont Brewing Company (Asheville), 4 College (Formerly Tallgary’s in Asheville), the Vortex (Marion), South Rock Bar & Grille (Hendersonville), the Showtime Saloon (Fletcher), the Canton Armory, the Emerald Lounge (Asheville), WNC Agricultural Center/Relay For Life Concert (Fletcher), the Boiler Room (Asheville), the One Stop Deli & Bar (Asheville), Hannah Flanagan’s (Hendersonville) and Hyphen (Asheville).
