Lt. Gov. Forest hires Rebekah Bradley as assistant to chief of staff
N.C. Lt. Gov. Dan Forest has named Waynesville resident Rebekah Bradley to serve as assistant to the chief of staff.
Bradley formerly worked in the office of Sen. Rick Gunn and served as an intern in the lieutenant governor's office.
Bradley is currently a senior at N.C. State University where she is finishing up her political science degree. She also serves as chairman of the NCSU College Republicans.
Bradley will work part-time until her expected graduation date in May 2014.
She is a 2010 Tuscola High School graduate and is the daughter of David and Michelle Bradley of Waynesville.
Bradley received the James and Betty Scott Memorial Scholarship awarded through the Haywood County Schools Foundation, and worked at the office of David Wijewickrama while in high school.
At N.C. State, she was on the dean’s list for six semesters, a National Society of Collegiate Scholars nominee, chairman of NCSU College Republicans and founder of NCSU for Dan Forest.
