Loving Mother, Grandmother
WAYNESVILLE —Martha RosaLee Rogers, 93, passed away Jan. 26, 2014. She was born in Jackson County to the late Elbert and Mary McBaron Moss. RosaLee enjoyed everyday life and helping others, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, RosaLee was preceded in death by her husband, George Rogers; a son, Ronald Rogers; a daughter, Pamela Martinelli; and two grandsons, Michael Fielden and Donald David Rogers.
She is survived by her son, Roderick Rogers (Norma); a half-brother, Noland Moss; a half-sister, Elizabeth Wilson; her grandchildren, Susie Fielden, Roddy Rogers, Tootsie Ferguson, Wendy Garner, Russell Bryson, Myrna Woods, and Michael Bryson; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m Tuesday, Jan. 28 in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Revs. Buford Rice and Bobby Rogers officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Roddy and Spencer Rogers, Jesse Inman, Jacob Franklin, Matthew and Joseph Bryson. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
