Maggie Valley Chamber of Commerce held a Chamber Chili Challenge on Sunday at Rendezvous Restaurant to find the best chili recipe in town. About 15 contestants entered the contest in four different categories and the public got to vote on the winners.

Overall winner: Charlie's Cowgirl Chili prepared by Charlie Meadows

Chili Rustler winner: Cowboy Delight prepared by Marsha Surrett with Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation

Chili Tex-Mex winner: South of the Border prepared by Andy Fitzsimmons

Luau Chili winner: Polynesian Chili prepared by Jerry Ferguson

Hog Wild Chili winner: Wild Mike's Buffalo Chili prepared by Mike Eveland
