The Maggie Valley Board of Aldermen will be accepting applicants for a position on the Maggie Valley Tourism Development Authority 1% Subcommittee.  The term will expire December 2013, as will the other terms on the MVTDA1% Board.

The only requirement for applying for the vacant seat is that you own a business or live inside Maggie Valley corporate limits. The business does not have to be in the lodging industry.

The council will conduct interviews at 5 p.m. prior to the regularly scheduled Board of Aldermen meeting Feb. 12.  All eligible interested people are encouraged to apply and/or be present for the interview process. Contact Vickie Best, town clerk at bestclerk@townofmaggievalley.com.
