Embellish the front door with a fresh, one-of-a-kind, made-from-scratch holiday wreath.

The annual Haywood County Master Gardener Wreath-Making Event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Cooperative Extension Office, located at 589 Raccoon Road, Waynesville.

Participants will have access to an incredible selection of fresh greenery, natural embellishments, and knowledgeable Master Gardeners. The cost is $20 and includes all materials. Participants are asked to bring pruners and a pair of gloves.

Reserve a spot by Dec. 4. Erin Hightower at 456-3575. Space is limited to 45 people for each session.

Proceeds from the Wreath-Making Event fund horticultural projects and grants in Haywood County.
