The following is a listing of arrests made by the Waynesville Police Department Aug. 15 through Aug. 28.

Kenneth T. Wilson, 47, of Carpathian Lane, Waynesville, was charged with felony reckless driving and misdemeanor driving while impaired Aug. 19.

Wilson wrecked his Volvo station wagon when he hit a utility pole on Boundary Street.

According to police reports, Wilson told officers that a “pack of wild dogs and town drunks had ran across the roadway in front of him.”

He told police he had been drinking home-brewed beer and several shots of “Popcorn Sutton’s finest.”

He was released from jail to a friend on a written promise to appear in court Oct. 1.

Jocelyn Camille Leigh, 24, faces several felony charges after stealing a man’s car, according to police reports.

Her charges include motor vehicle theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of meth and obtaining property by false pretense.

She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, larceny and possession of stolen property.

Leigh was jailed under $13,000 secured bond.

Justice Rochelle Godbee, 18, of Dragonfire Lane, Waynesville, was driving the car and charged with felony possession of a motor vehicle and driving without a license.

She was jailed under $3,000 secured bond.

Eric Paul Johnson, 21, of Chestnut Park Drive, Waynesville, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and contempt of court, perjury and court violations.

He was jailed under $5,000 secured bond.

Aug. 15: Isidro Tovar was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Aug. 15: Howard Carson Campbell was charged with larceny and possession of stolen property.

Aug. 15: Bret Roland Phillips was charged with first degree trespassing.

Aug. 15: James Lawson Franklin was charged with first degree trespassing.

Aug. 15: Michael Ray Price was charged with first degree trespassing.

Aug. 16: Lorraine Denise Watson was charged with failure to appear in court for driving while impaired and without a license.

Aug. 16: Miranda Nicole Cable was charged with two counts assault by pointing a gun and two counts resisting a public officer.

Aug. 17: John Phillips Wiggins was charged with larceny and possession of stolen property.

Aug. 17: Paul David Skinner was charged with driving while impaired.

Aug. 17: Rochelle Davis Hart was charged with larceny shoplifting.

Aug. 17: Danny Wayne Frizzell was charged with simple assault.

Aug. 17: Sonya Warren was charged with simple assault.

Aug. 17: Peggy Rich was charged with trespassing.

Aug. 17: Roger Chapin Ray was charged with domestic violence protective order violation.

Aug. 17: Norvell Veotis Mays II was charged with driving while impaired, driving with a revoked license and speeding.

Aug. 18: Jimmy Lee Christopher was charged with simple assault.

Aug. 19: Christopher Michael Jacobs was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.

Aug. 19: Any William McKinney was charged with larceny shoplifting.

Aug. 19: Edwin Dwayne Barnes was charged with assault on a female, worthless check fraud and failure to appear in court for interfering with emergency communication.

Aug. 20: Joe Ellis Webb was charged with threatening phone calls.

Aug. 21: Clifford Nathaniel Warren was charged with communicating threats.

Aug. 21: Bernie Joseph McGlinchey was charged with simple assault.

Aug. 22: Kendra Leigh Owle was charged with failure to appear in court.

Aug. 22: Kenneth Eugene Frizzell was charged with driving while impaired and possession of an open container.

Aug. 22: Saisha Leeann McCullough was charged with trespassing.

Aug. 23: June Calvin Forney was charged with failure to appear in court for misdemeanor child abuse, failure to stop at a stop light and three counts driving with a revoked license.

Aug. 23: Joshua William Chapman was charged with injury to personal property.

Aug. 23: James William Ramsey was charged with domestic criminal trespassing, breaking and entering and injury to real property.

Aug. 23: Anthony Chad Long was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
