Marching Mountaineers hold annual band day Sept. 21

Tuscola High School Marching Mountaineers will hold their annual band day Saturday, Sept. 21 at First Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Waynesville.

The day starts with a garage and bake sale at 7 a.m. By 11:30 a.m., hamburger and hot dog plates will be available for purchase.

Band students will also be out in the community hosting several car washes at the following locations: Tractor Supply, Kmart, the Hardees in Hazelwood, KFC and Bojangles.

In addition, the famous Tuscola Band Win Win discount cards will be available for purchase at all locations.

The events of the day will end with an afternoon concert by the Marching Mountaineers held on the old Haywood County Courthouse lawn at 2:30 p.m.

The band appreciates the tremendous support of the community and looks forward to seeing you Saturday.
