FT. MYERS, FLORIDA — Marie-Anne Hammond, 99, of Fort Myers, Florida, formally of Keene, New Hampshire, passed away Nov. 12, 2012. She worked at Miniature Precision Ball Bearing for many years, and was a member of St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church and the Society of St. Anne. Marie-Anne was a long-time member of the Greater Fort Myers Rose Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold J. Hammond; daughter Rita M. McPhail; sister, Aurea Clark; brother Joseph Lariviere; and parents Arthur and Clodia Maillotte.
Marie-Anne was a kind, sweet, generous, and thoughtful lady who will be deeply missed by daughter, Joan (Spencer) Vigneau; sons Robert (Ellen) Hammond and John (Marianne) Hammond; grandsons, Edward and Michael Vigneau, Kevin and Brian Hammond, Kelly Regner and Keith (Tanya) McPhail, Dianne Arsenault, Donna (Mark) Hilow; and numerous great grandchildren. A memorial service will be at a later date in Keene, New Hampshire.
