Loving Husband, Father, Papaw

CRABTREE — Marshall Haney, 87, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. He was born Oct. 31, 1925, to the late Jesse and Mary Mathis Haney. Marshall enjoyed mowing grass and working on lawn mowers. He taught small engine repair at Haywood Community College for more than 30 years. Marshall was a lifetime member of Crabtree Baptist Church where he served as treasurer for many years. He was also a member of Lodge 226 of The Woodmen of the World. Marshall retired from Wellco, with more than 40 years of faithful service.
