MAGGIE VALLEY — Mary Grey Walker Wallace, 82, of Riverside Villa Drive, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at The Homestead.

A native of Haywood County, she had lived in West Palm Beach, Florida for 28 years. She was the daughter of the late Grady and Zephie Williams Walker and was also preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Lynn Riche; one son, Steven Ralph Wallace; four sisters; and one brother. A teacher for 32 years, Mary taught 28 years for the Palm Beach County School System. She was a member and a former secretary at Maple Grove United Methodist Church and enjoyed working in her yard, was an avid reader, and a seamstress.
