MAGGIE VALLEY — Marye Laughran Boon, 63, of 482 Black Camp Gap Road, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital.

A native of Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Clayton Jr. and Mary Laughran Clayton.  She was also preceded in death by a son, William Robert Reeves.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Roger R. Boon; two sons, James Reeves III of Maggie Valley, and Lawrence Reeves, of Louisiana; one step-sister, Cindy Clayton; one brother, Lawrence Clayton III; and two stepbrothers, Bobby and Carrie Clayton.

No services are scheduled.
