Master Gardener plant sale has begun

By Jim Janke | Feb 15, 2016

The annual Haywood County Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association plant sale has begun. Edibles — berries, asparagus, and fruit and nut trees — and native plants — perennials to attract pollinators — are available.

Order forms are available at the Cooperative Extension Office, located at 589 Raccoon Road, Waynesville; by calling the office at 456-3575; or by sending an email to mgarticles@charter.net.

Orders are pre-paid and due by March 15. Edibles will be available for pickup on April 9, and native plants on May 21.

Proceeds from the plant sale fund education-related horticulture projects in Haywood County.

For more information about the plant sale and other Master Gardener activities, call 456-3575.
