Matthew Zedler Exhibited at Eclipse Salon & Gallery – Reception on June 7th

The Eclipse Salon & Gallery at 16 Wall Street in downtown Asheville is currently exhibiting sixteen works by the contemporary artist, Matthew Zedler through June 30th. The works presently displayed include linear and geometric abstractions, impressionism, cubism, nature-based realism, and work from his Panacea Pour l’âme (remedy for the soul) series. There will be a reception for the artist on Friday June 7th, 2013 from 6-8 pm in conjunction with downtown Asheville’s Art After Dark.
Matthew Zedler is a modern/contemporary fine artist with a studio and gallery in downtown Marshall, NC, about 30 minutes north of Asheville, NC. His gallery has been open to the public since early 2008, but his involvement in the arts and fine arts extends throughout his entire life. His repertoire includes variety of cutting edge abstract-expressionist contemporary and geometric-linear-cubist paintings. His training includes Arrowmont School for Art, Fine Arts in Gatlinburg, TN, University of Wisconsin, and the University of Tennessee, Fine Arts in Knoxville, TN. In addition, he has received mentoring from other lifelong artists. His work is also presently on display at NewZart Gallery in downtown Marshall, NC, Nelson Fine Art in Johnson City, TN and featured in several nationwide online galleries.
Eclipse owner Jen Amann has featured the work of local artists in rotating exhibits since the business first opened. The Eclipse Salon & Gallery is located at 16 Wall Street, in downtown Asheville, NC and is open Tuesdays through Fridays 9 am-6pm, Saturdays 9 am – 5pm.
