CLYDE — Mr. Max G. Robinson Sr., 76, of Clyde, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013. He was born in Haywood County to the late Jennings and Mary Hipps Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Marvin Gerry Robinson; brother, Dale Robinson; and a sister, Freida Angus.

Max served our country in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He retired from Champion Paper, with 43 years of service. He was also a Boy Scout Troop Leader and served on the board for approximately 50 years.
