MedWest Haywood begins BodyPump™ classes Sept. 3
MedWest Haywood will add LES MILLS™ BODYPUMP™ to its lineup of classes at the Health & Fitness Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3. Classes will run Tuesday and Thursday evenings. BODYPUMP™ at MedWest Haywood Health & Fitness Center will be led by a physician who is a certified BODYPUMP™ instructor.
Focusing on low weight loads and high repetition movements, participants have the opportunity to burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning, using the proven BODYPUMP™ formula.
A typical class aims at improving an individual’s strength, general fitness, protecting bones and joints from injury, helping the individual feeling more confident and getting into shape fast. This is achieved through performing 70 to 100 repetitions per body part, totaling 800 repetitions in a single workout. Group exercise suits all fitness levels and helps boost confidence. According to LES MILLS™, group exercise is the most powerful way to get motivation, inspiration and results.
The choreography and music is refreshed every three months, so with a participant’s choice of weight and highly-trained instructors they can get the group effect and the results they've been looking for. BODYPUMP™ is enjoyed by millions of people around the world.
