MedWest-Haywood will cut its staff by 56 positions, according to a memorandum received at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from John Young, MedWest-Haywood' interim chief executive officer.

Staff will be reduced by 26 at MedWest-Harris, according to a memo from CEO Steve Heatherly.

More information will be available later today following media briefings on the actions.
