By Haywood County Library | Jan 21, 2014

Join writer and former English professor Dr. Polly Davis for a free, introductory class on memoir writing at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Canton Branch Library. Participants will be guided on the basics of how to document their personal stories. No previous writing experience is required.

Prior to retirement, Dr. Davis was the chair of the English Department at Fayetteville Technical Community College, where she taught writing. She is a member of Mountain Writers of N.C., and is currently working on her own memoir.

This program is made possible by the Friends of the Library. Light refreshments will be served. While the class is free, registration is required as space for the class is limited. To sign up, call 648-2924.
