Peer Support Specialists
Meridian is seeking Peer Support Specialists to work within a number of recovery oriented programs within our agency. Being a Peer Support Specialist provides an opportunity for individuals to transform their own personal lived experience with mental health and/or addiction challenges into a tool for inspiring hope for recovery in others. Applicants must demonstrate maturity in their own recovery process, have a HS Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and have moderate computer skills. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Adult and Child Services
The CMA works as part of the medical office team performing clinical and clerical duties to meet the goal of providing primary and mental health care. Duties include preparing patient for provider visit, gathering information, assisting providers with procedures, answering the phone, making appointments, registering patients, performing laboratory procedures, distributing and/or administering medications and assisting the providers. Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program. Two years of experience in physician’s office or related experience preferred, but not required. Possession of current certification as a Medical Assistant and complies with all guidelines within the scope of a Certified Medical Assistant.
