Eno will also present his mind-expanding “Illustrated Talk.”

Also, Moogfest 2011 is expanding in a big way. In addition to concerts at the Asheville Civic Center Arena, Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, and the Orange Peel, new venues for the weekend will include the newly renovated Asheville Music Hall (formerly Stella Blue), and the beautiful and intimate Diana Wortham Theatre.

Additionally, details surrounding the fine arts component of Moogfest are ready to be shared. SYNTH: A Group Art Show Inspired by Bob Moog, is a showcase of handmade limited-edition screen prints by some of the top concert poster artists and graphic designers working today. This year’s show will also feature a special limited edition print created by The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne. All proceeds from SYNTH go to support the Bob Moog Foundation. Additionally, this year there will be surprise daytime performances and events all over town on Saturday and Sunday.
