By Haywood Community College | Jun 20, 2012

Haywood Community College’s Continuing Education department will offer a new summer Auto Body Restoration taught by Morris Hannah. This class will teach students how to make an old beat up vehicle look new again. Hannah taught auto body repair at HCC for six years before retiring in 2009.

The Auto Restoration class will meet on Thursday evenings from 4 until 9 p.m. beginning on June 28th. The course will meet for ten consecutive sessions with a scheduled last meeting date of August 30th. This will be a project based course where students will work on their own auto restoration project or as a team with others who are working on project automobiles.

Students interested in taking this course can register at the Student Services Building (1500 Bldg.) on the HCC Campus. The cost for the class is $135. Students are responsible for the cost of materials and supplies used for their projects during the course. For more information, call Howard Tew at 828-565-4244 or email hctew@haywood.edu.
