Mountain BizWorks will offer a free information session at 11:30 a.m.Thursday, March 28, for entrepreneurs who want to learn more about Business Boot Camp, the organization’s newest offering for small business owners.
Business Boot Camp is a six-month program for existing business owners that aims to bridge the training gap between "solopreneur" and small business. Business Boot Camp will provide a powerful business support network and personalized training to help solopreneurs take steps to grow their businesses, like hiring their first employees, creating internal systems, or expanding their products or services to new markets.
Participants will work in a group setting with a team of local experts, including Justin Belleme of JB Media Group, Jeff Pennypacker of 360 Business, Celeste Ametrine of Green Vine Designs, and Sajit Greene of Soul Vision Consulting. Kimberly Hunter, a Mountain BizWorks Business Developer and AB-Tech adjunct instructor, has also joined the team.
“Kimberly has a vast knowledge of working with small businesses,” said Sharon Oxendine, director of entrepreneurship at Mountain BizWorks. “She makes great suggestions that have enabled clients to grow their businesses and retain earnings. She also has an innate way of motivating and inspiring clients to develop and reach goals.”
At the free information session, attendees will meet the Business Boot Camp team and learn more about how the program can help their businesses.
Space is limited. To RSVP for the information session, visit mountainbizworks.org/bootcamp or contactOxendine at sharon@mountainbizworks.org or call 253-2834. ext. 28.
Applications for Business Boot Camp are due April 5, and the program begins April 19.
