Mountain View Garden Club Plant Sale

The Mountain View Garden Club will hold a plant sale on Saturday, July 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Shelton House in Waynesville. Sale items will include perennial plants such as Bee Balm, Bell Flowers, Chrysanthemums, Hostas, several kinds of ground cover and many more – all that have been grown in club members' gardens. There will also be fun, decorative, handmade items such as lavender sprays, hand-painted clay pots, pine cone wreaths, and cork trivets.

Some of the proceeds from the sale will go toward the Shelton House gardens. The Mountain View Garden Club supports many other community beautification projects such as the topiary plantings at the Waynesville branch of the Haywood County Public Library, seasonal plantings for the four containers next to the benches near the Waynesville Post Office, plantings at the Welcome to Waynesville sign, monthly floral arrangements for Autumn Care Nursing Home's dining room tables, and the Adopt-a-Street clean-up program.

So come and find that plant you've been dreaming of, or that not to be missed one-of-a-kind craft treasure.
