The Mountain View Garden Club will hold a plant sale on Saturday, July 7 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Historic Farmers Market, in the Haywood Arts Regional Theater parking lot, at 250 Pigeon St., in Waynesville.

Perennial plants including ground covers and hostas, dish gardens, lavender sprays, and cut flowers will be among the items for sale.  All the plants have been grown in Club members’ own gardens.  Come early for best choice of fun, decorative garden objects.

Proceeds from the sale will go toward the club’s community beautification projects, such as the topiary plantings at the Waynesville branch of the Haywood County Library, planters at the Waynesville Post Office, and seasonal plantings at the Welcome to Waynesville sign.
