She received her bachelor’s degree in classical flute performance from Florida State University, and her master’s degree in teaching from Florida Atlantic University.

Additionally, for several years Bonnie Rossa has performed as an accompanist at the Kravis Center, West Palm Beach and, in 2002, at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Want to give jazz a try? Great! The kick-off workshops are divided by ages, and here’s the best part….you don’t even have to how to play an instrument! There are also a limited number of keyboards available which will be reserved on first-come, first-serve basis.

Singers are welcome too and they will be introduced to the exciting style and technique of scat singing!

For Jazz Cats ( rising 6th-12 graders): The workshop will meet from 6:30-8p on July 26th.

The cost of the workshop is $10.00 which includes the instruction time, all printed materials, and an informal CONCERT by Mr. Keller and Mrs. Rossa to be held at 5:45p on July 26th. Friends and family members are also invited to attend the concert as long as space is available.
