In celebration of National Library Week, Canton Branch Library will host an open house event all day on Thursday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you have preschool-aged kids, come at 10 a.m. for Rompin' Stompin' Storytime. The Canton Book Club will meet at 3:30 p.m. to discuss Serena by Ron Rash, and new members are always welcome. Starting at 5 p.m., our technology instructor will be available to answer questions about the library's new digital resources. Learn how to download free music, e-books, magazines, and more -- all you need is your library card!
Canton Branch Library partners with the Haywood County Arts Council to offer quarterly fine arts exhibits. View the latest exhibit, encaustic paintings by T. E. Stewert, which was installed at the beginning of April.
Refreshments and cookies, generously provided by the Friends of the Library, will be available all day in the library's meeting room (while supplies last).
