Chef Keleigh Fonseca may be a newcomer to the area, but she has done catering for the past 17 years, and is gearing up her business, Elegance by Keleigh, in Haywood County.
“I started cooking in my teens,” said Fonseca. “I come from a family of seven kids and we all had our share of time in the kitchen. That time for me was really enjoyable. Cooking for others outside my family started by word of mouth from friends and their friends.”
Her background has been in the restaurant business, working as a chef and learning from chefs. Fonseca catered the open house reception for Joe Sam Queen Aug. 4, and got many compliments from the attendees.
