Nina Howard Studio complete renovations
Nina Howard returned to the mountains in Waynesville two and a half years ago and has recently completed the renovation of her home and land to accommodate a spa and skin care studio complete with treatment room, private bath and shower, private entrance and gardens.
Howard is an artist, licensed esthetician, message therapist, polarity therapist, national skin care educator and creator of Bellanina Skin Care, sold around the country and locally at Sunburst Market, as well as her own studio.
In the early 90s, Howard operated a massage and art gallery at 33 Church St., Waynesville, now home to The Patio. She moved her business to Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1994 and founded Bellanina Spa & Institute. Bellanina has trained thousands of massage and skin care professionals in their unique treatment, the Bellanina Facelift Massage, and has served over 50,000 clients in their unique spa, retail store and art gallery.
In 2006, Bellanina Day Spa won the National Day Spa of the Year Award, given by the Day Spa Association and voted by her peers. In 2009, Nina won Best Artist in Ann Arbor voted by residents of Ann Arbor. After selling 50 percent of her shares in the Bellanina business to a business manager, Howard is back in Waynesville preparing for the next stage of her career while continuing as national training director for Bellanina.
“The attainment of beauty and wellness is my calling and I love to share my techniques, my uniquely formulated products, my awareness and my art. It is a lifestyle,” said Howard. “My cornerstone treatment, the Bellanina Facelift Massage, is a holistic option to skin improvement through toning and tightening facial muscles and rejuvenating skin. I also offer a variety of facials, spa treatments and energy work in an idyllic setting amongst organic gardens, ponds, vineyards and flower gardens. The environment is complimentary to healing, relaxation and rejuvenation.”
