To the editor:

There may be a general perception that Mitt Romney is somehow less qualified to become president because he headed a private equity company.

The negative sound bites against Romney and Bain Capital are being apprehended as truths.  In reality, private equity executives possess the qualities and experience you would want in a president: 1) Negotiating skills, 2) Talent management, 3) Global mindset, 4) Analyze spreadsheets and develop a strategy based on the data, 5) Know how to get things done.

If one were to write a job description for the president, wouldn’t these points be included?
